Summer traffic

Traffic has been heavy on the North River this week as we move into summer demand.

Bulker Bee headed for sea Monday evening after discharging a cargo of Dominican sugar at the Yonkers refinery.
Dann’s Ivory Coast was also heading for sea and Philadelphia with ASC 300 tank barge towed astern. Ivory came up light from Baltimore to pick up the barge near Kingston, probably from the Feeney Shipyard.
CMT’s Helen brought a high sided hopper down from Coeymans early
Metropolitan Marine’s Pegasus passed a J80 sailboat en route to Yonkers for a docking assist job.
Kimberly Poling and the Edwin A Poling barge headed for the Kills after anchoring for a few hours off 72nd Street on the way back from Albany.
Little C tug continues to work with a spud barge and drilling rig off Pier 66, taking samples for the Gateway Tunnel project.
Buchanan12 passed Jersey City on their way back to Clinton Point.
The small tanker Chandra B delivered diesel to a client docked at Chelsea Piers.
