Late June: heat and wind

Centerline’s Adeline Marie ATB came up the North River to anchor as extreme heat gave way to gale conditions Monday evening. Adeline has not been seen on NRN since last July and has been working in the Gulf as recently as May. By Tuesday afternoon they had left town, heading back to the Gulf of Mexico
The cargo ship Aralia was heading for sea and her next port of call in Baltimore Tuesday after delivering steel beams to the Port of Coeymans which were ultimately destined for a pedestrian bridge in Buffalo. The visible deck cargo is likely heading for another port in the U.S.
Poling-Cutler’s Marilyn George brought Noelle Cutler barge back from Albany Tuesday, heading for a dock on the Kill van Kull.

Vane’s Bohemia, never seen before on NRN, came up the North River with Double Skin 59 to anchor off the West Side.

Viking Star took an assist heading out on a cruise to Greenland and Iceland.
The Goodyear Blimp made a rare trip down the North River, moving between golf events in Connecticut and Ohio.
Kristin Poling and Eva Leigh Cutler spent some time anchored off the Galaxy Apartments last Guttenberg on Thursday.
