Thursday July 11–hot but windy

Susan Rose/RCM 250 passed up the North River Wednesday en route to anchorage off Yonkers.
Reinauer’s Josephine anchored further south off Edgewater
William F Fallon Jr remained anchored further south with the barge Long Island.
Stasinos’s newest tug Maureen Regina, the former DonJon tug Emily Ann, passed by with a hopper heading for Kingston on the hip, barely visible from the New York shoreline.
The diminutive tug Rae returned from a trip up to Verplanck
The even smaller Kenny G was heading for the North River Shipyard in Nyack with what might be part of the Greenpoint ferry dock on a barge.
George Holland was filling in for Buchanan12 on the Greenville to Clinton Point run, with B12 currently paying a visit to the Caddell Dry Dock yard.
The small bunkering tanker Chandra B headed up to the 125th Street piers after visiting customers in Chelsea Piers and Pier 82. They were probably delivering diesel to the Bay Lander ship permanently docked there as a restaurant.
A 45’ NYPD launch also travelled upriver
Yonker Police’s Marine Unit travelled down river beyond their usual jurisdiction.
The Army Corp’s Moritz was patrolling the river Wednesday as well.
Wednesday saw an unusual gathering of three DonJon tugs off Pier 99.
