Observations on the Hudson River as it passes through New York City. The section of the Hudson which passes through New York is historically known as the North River, called this by the Dutch to distinguish it from the Delaware River, which they knew as the South River. Centerline Logistics units with their lion logo were busy moving oil product up the North River from a Carteret terminal to distribution points up north on Thursday. William F Fallon Jr and barge Flaco came through in the morning, Albany-bound, followed by Adeline Marie with Marc N bound for Newburgh in the afternoon that day. By Sunday, both are back in NY Harbor, with William anchored on the North River off the Soldiers and Sailors monument.
