Haugland Group’s 1,800 HP tug Lily Anne is northbound on the North River Saturday morning, running light and perhaps heading for the company’s materials handling port on Tompkins Cove near Haverstraw. The tug has been far ranging over the past week, having been at Rhode Island’s Davisville Port as recently as Monday and come up from points south last weekend.

UPDATE: Lily Anne wound up collecting stone hoppers from the anchorage off the Tilcon Haverstraw quarry and bringing them down to the old Kinder Morgan Staten Island terminal which at one point was slated for conversion into an offshore wind facility.
