Tower views

Towers on shore provided good backdrops for tugs moving cargo on the North River Wednesday despite sub-optimal photography conditions. The Dace Reinauer/RTC 62 ATB was passing the World Trade Center with a New York Harbor products cargo bound for Albany, Dann’s Coral Coast had a loaded cement barge outbound from the Amrize plant in Ravenna bound for the terminal on Flushing Bay with the Empire State Building in the background, and Vane’s Fell’s Point was on bunkering duty, waiting in front of the historic Weehawken water tower with a tank barge for the Carnival Venezia docked at Pier 88.
