The Anna Rose/RCM 225 ATB came up the North River on Friday with a products cargo headed for Albany. Based on AIS track, I believe the cargo may have been lightered off the tanker Solar Katherine anchored in the Upper Bay, which in turn appears to have arrived from Norway’s refinery at Morgstad.

Anna/RCM 225 was one of three New York-based former Bouchard ATBs run by Rose Cay Maritime until the company ceased operations last year. Unlike the other two, Jordan Rose and Susan Rose, the Anna Rose unit does not appear to have been purchased by Vane Brothers and may instead still be owned by the credit fund which had previously owned the whole fleet, with Anna now being operated by a new manager after RCM closed up shop.

Unlike Jordan and Susan which regularly anchored on the North River during their Rose Cay years, I have not seen Anna Rose on the North River before.
