Too much of a good thing?
Conditions began to move into the “a little too good” category on Saturday, with temperatures creeping up into the 70s. Recreational boaters lucky enough not to have taken their boats out for the winter yet were enjoying things, and the commercial crews were probably also content not to be freezing.

Summer weekends
As we move into mid-summer, the days start to run together. Heat, interrupted by occasional storms, and winds from the southeast building as the heat builds up through the day making for excellent afternoon and evening sailing. River traffic continues as usual, and boaters, sailors, paddle boarders and even swimmers are out in force.

Tame Tuesday
Tuesday brought another day of benign weather and northerly winds. Commercial traffic was light and routine, dominated by Reinauer ATBs, while sailers were enjoying the conditions.
